With all the fuss over the colours of locos; I assume many people's heads would explode over the mechanical lubricator and the butterfly doors on 986? Did the engine ever run as a coal burner with box ...

Anyone else noticed jrb1 only posts in this thread and it's always how good a job SRHC have done on those rare times in recent years it runs a trip?

Those figures you boast are actually horrible and good reason to not reintroduce a costly and most certainly little used and lengthy train.

Is your vehicle 120+ years old and stored/used in a facility not equipped to do much more than running repairs?
