I'm almost surprised... but then again, how long did it take V/Line to realise that the original doors on the PH vans were actually out-of-gauge? :p

Apparently, there used to be full skirted barriers on some level crossings in New South Wales ... these were replaced by typical, flimsy, half-barriers ...

It would probabaly be a good idea to remember the front of passenger rail vehicle is NOT MEANT to be a work of art. it needs to stick out so it an be seen very easily.
