Update - Passenger Rail put back to 2041, because ARTC has taken the corridor for SG ONLY trains. A new corridor will be be resumed/constructed beside it.

After nearly 6 years after the last ...

For SE QLD, do a bit of a search on Bromelton Industrial Precinct, PN, ARTC and SCT own huge plots of land on each side of the Interstate Rail Line, already upgraded to DG to Acacia Ridge. ARTC plans  ...

Most people you meet in Beaudesert are quite friendly. I think this has something to do with the lack of passenger trains and the related grubs that orbit active passenger train stations. The only "ar ...

"Bring it on" I say, can only be a good thing for SEQ general freight and passenger expansion on the existing lines choked by coal trains.

In the future there will be more suburban trains that coal or freight.

You have no idea. There was no coal in the past, except for heritage tours after 1970.

Have you se ...

There is an option for the coal to go from the Surat Basin to Gladstone and almost built before coal prices dropped. Banana to Wandoen - the Missing Link. It would free-up the Western Line through Ips ...

LINX Cargo Care is owned by PN. Google is your friend. The LINX business is all about new employee work conditions and getting rid of unions - AGAIN!

Most of these properties are acreage blocks, rail "at the back fence" is not rail at the house.

Sure are acreage hey? Look at this, from Algester to Boronia Heights which is  ...

Perhaps a dozen trains a day, all in boxes. Or 500 B-doubles?

Option A please.

And 24/7 coal trains in the gaps, like on the Central QLD coal systems.

Maldon to Dombarton (NSW) was sposed to be "Nation Building" too.

Will there be missing IR links in 50 years?

If the southern missing link is built, it could also be dual gauge and ARTC can help build it so the Inland Rail can continue to Gladstone. Warren Truss, whom is pro IR to Gladstone, may be a good thi ...

Notwithstanding all that has been said in this post - Why are Waste businesses in NSW charging the NSW waste levi to locals and still are able to send that same waste to QLD by rail instead of road tr ...

Because the "relay" equipment on modern trailing rail vehicles uses the BP as a constant supply of air to maintain against a BC leakage on each vehicle if there is a leak. In other words, once the BP  ...

I seem to get "not available" message all the time out of desk jockey hours, like 03:00 when the real rail worker world is in full operation, not in bed. Anyone else see the connection?

Don't worry people - QLD is where the excess waste will go by rail (illegal by road) - no $130 per tonne Waste Levy. PN will be a huge winner with this, as already seen now with their Garbage trains f ...

It went south out of Brissie this morning, so must have been some other issue with it not running a few days last week.

XPT has been missing from Brisbane the last few days.

Aurizon and SCT and LDP. An LDP will always be an LDP for the current owner. If they get sold, then the new owner can name them what they like or keep the class name. All changes cost big money. Just  ...

Something to think about - PoB is foreign owned and Gladstone is QLD owned. ARTC have already made the choice of sending coal to PoB to the surprise/delight of the foreigners!
