I may be easy to convert the rest of the standard gauge network to 1067mm gauge than to convert Qld.

Does anyone know of upcoming trackwork on the north coast mainline before the 29th sept,track closed for a week and we are being bused to Brisbane?

I was in Townsville on Wednesday and relations purchased a postcard that had a train on it.     the postcard had a loco on it ,photo taken on the Greenvale line ann the loco was numbered 2201,did thes ...

Finaly got Railpage back, the sleepers were loaded on the back of the semi ,not on a container ,just 3x2 packing.Just a big yellow nylon ty down on both sides of the truck.

I was in Goomeri yesterday and there were a few semis with concrete sleepers as a load going south.

  any idea  as to where they may be going ?

Moura line was built to standard gauge loading gauge so it could be converted in the future,all bridges and other structures are done.

We plan to drive Rockhampton and Gladstone to Caboolture ,then train to Brunswick st  and then walk to the exhibition ground.

Is it still in the same building or a new one

On the western end of Hughenden where the Winton line  joined the mt isa line was there a diamond crossing over the deviation to join the line through Hughenden?

They would not fit the turntables if the were longer bogie wheelbase and they did not need the coal capacity.
