I drove that train on Friday and it's just a faulty whistle as the high note whistle is still a normal Siemens high whistle. I doubt they are combining Xtrap and Siemens whistles together.

285M & friends passed me at Hawksburn this morning at around 8.30am. I was stopping all stations to Flinders St and it was running express.

278M & friends was stabled at Pakenham today.

Passed 299M & friends at Richmond today at around 5pm. It was heading to Flinders St after a run to either Pakenham or Cranbourne.
