      3801_95 Junior Train Controller

    While i was down south, from QLD, i decided to head to the Adelaide tram museum. Taken from a film camera and scanned by Big W, the picture quality is lacking, but probably due to my bad photography skills.













    (try and spot the odd one out!)

    yes the R class Sydney tram.

    is that on loan or does the Adelaide tramway museum own it?

    My memory might fail here but i'm pretty sure it's on loan from loftus

    R1 1971 is currently on loan from the STM to the AETM at St Kilda and arrived in late 2005.

    well it's not like the STM has a shortage of R class trams.

    The last time I was at the museum was for myka's birthday a few years ago and the sheds were pretty full of all sorts of trams. Plus they had a few units being worked on in the workshop.

    quite a few R and O's from recollection.
