    I know you're keen to know about it, but perhaps asking the NSWRTM/Heritage Express directly would be the way to go. I'm sure all you're likely to get told here is the same thing, only less politely...

    There may be plenty of rumours around, but unless you know someone who is regularily involved with Heritage Express, you're best off contacting them directly. They'll likely tell you that if the 36 is ready, it will be on it, if not, then perhaps the 35.

    Depart Sydney Terminal 0903 hours, passing East Hills 0939, Campbelltown arrive 1000, depart 1007, passing Picton 1038, Mittagong 1147, Moss Vale Junction 1201, arrive Robertson 1222.
    Depart Robertson 1440, arrive Summit Tank 1517, depart 1535, pass Unanderra 1615, Wollongong Up Yard arrive 1623L, depart 1631, passing Scarborough 1656, Waterfall arrive 1730, depart 1741, Hurstville depart 1812, arrive Sydney Terminal 1838.

    thanks spletsie for the info, will take some video from central when leaving then head either to mitagong or roberston for some more.  then i get some return shots on the way home.

    I was at thirlmere today and saw 3642 in light steam if that is any info. Could someone post the time it leaves/depart thirlmere in the morning and evening?

    Due to depart Thirlmere at 1700 hours tomorrow
    Picton Frame C 1720/1725
    Campbelltown 1800
    Revesby 1827
    Eveleigh Gate road 1900
    Eveleigh LES 1906

    Return to Thirlmere on Saturday night does not leave Eveleigh until 2100 hours, due to Thirlmere at 2305 hours
    Wait and see if the 36 is on the trip or not
