Where will these be operating please?

Methinks the pretty C's and G's on the SSR coalies won't be around for much longer...

This is a pure guess though.

This brings up a question about the ties between SSR and Centennial. I am not sure but I think SSR may have the contract for operating the CEY's on behalf of centennial.

The C's and G's will be around for a little longer, at least I think so. I don't think the CEY's will be replacing them and kicking them out of the coal service any time soon.

I must have missed some things. It seemed that now there more and more variants of NR descendants. And they're also owned by variety of companies.

All new loco's should be fitted out with ICE radios, the old Countrynet is being phased out.

The CFCLA livery always seems to look great on any locomotive! On the cab do they have a name of some sort. Its hard to pick it up in the photo but it looks like there is something written above the number.

Cheers

It has the low weight 134 tonnes/high weight of 139.2 tonnes.

Also CF4401 was there, and in the shed were CEY001, with CEY 004  and CF4406 under construction.
