I was a Junction Station, but now only a single track passes through. Apart from one residence, nothing remains, though the tonnage that passes the residence each day would be higher than in its days as a Junction.

Cressy ?

Yes, its Cressy, which in its BG days had a line south to Colac and another north to Newtown. The east-west Gheringhap to Maroona line was in fact the last to reach Cressy. The two cross country lines were closed in the 1950's I think.

Back to you Rodo.

A station that was the first one on a fairly long branchline that eventually became the terminus of the branch before final closure. It also got a name change then.

Not Bandiana, this one had a small grain bunker that provided the only final traffic.

I now think this station was no more than 12 km from the mainline junction. There was another location that remained open as well for a few years, closer to the junction.

Not on the Maryborough-Ararat link. This line is long lifted. The first 2 stations on the line appear to have been the only 2 with graun storage facilities. There were about 7 more stations.

I am thinking Whoorel on Forrest. No idea if they had grain but I think grain would have been grown closer to colac and not at the Forrest end of the line.
