Back and forth we go, yes it was Casterton - the Glenelg River crossing. The line was closed in the 1970's and the bridge was demolished in 1986. Perhaps there are some remains in the river bed, but otherwise nothing is left to see.

Over to you again Rodo.

This station was affected by a lake rising and starting to cover the tracks ust south of the station.
This problem was solved by the line being closed in the 1950s.

Perhaps Beeac ? Lake Corangamite and its neighbours overflowed (water made it to the Barwon River) in the 1950's and could have been used as an excuse to close the Irrewarra to Cressy line.

Mikesyd is onto it again. Lack of traffic was a consideration but Lake Beeac creeping over the rails was no doubt a contributory factor.
Wal Larsen mentioned the rails sinking under the water as the last train passed over the lake side approaching Beeac.
