You've had that happen before, then?

Often enough to consider it a professional occupation, so I know what I'm talking about (and the ladies never seemed to mind) LOL P.S - 'Reply to post' does not seem to work atm, nor does emoticons.

On the iPad/iPhone I'm unable to log in to the site. The whole top menubar is missing. Don't know if it's a Safari issue or if you have a separate mobile-optimised version of the site.

Noooooooo!!

Why must you taunt me so... I see Font Family and I see Helvetica, but I can't use it (yet? please?)

Nice work on the forums guys. I'm still getting my head around it but it looks quite nice. It feels a little bit big using it on 1680 by 750 or whatever the size of my browser is. I'll be happy to take a glance on the 'Pad later to see how she pans out.

Also, Cudos on the typeface for the page titles. They're tres nice.

I am on holidays using my Ipad and was unable to log in. The whole look was terrible, unprofessional. I had to borrow a family member's laptop to log in. Will have to wait until I return home before accessing again.

Looks ok so far. Still a lot of work to be done.

Might be an idea to create and sticky up a rp3 bugs and issues thread.

Agreed.  As with all major changes there will always be a few bugs get through the testing.  For example, trying to delete a PM from the inbox and it tries to go to "http://modules.php/?name=Private_Messages&file=index&folder=inbox".  IE an absolute link that ought be a relative link.

Also the link on each thread title to go to the first unread post for me always results in the 404 error page "The page you requested does not exist."  For example, for the Transport Fare Rise thread in the Sydney Suburban forum the link http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11365504-newest.htm  redirects to http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p1640544#1640544.htm for me, resulting in the 404.  It should redirect to http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p1640544.htm#1640544  (note the ".htm" in the wrong place).

Cheers,

Richard.

Previous style had an automatic line space between the quoted section and the reply. Now it is just jammed up under the quoted section and looks messy.

Some of the images from previous messages are missing on http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11348803.htm although mine seem to be ok.  For example the image in the following post is missing yet is still available on the internet.

[quote="Aussie Bhoy"]1956 [bigimg]http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/3020/1956coolangattaaerial.jpg[/bigimg][/quote]

Wondering if its the bigimg tag which is causing trouble?

Note: BBcode in the message has been disabled to show the code above.

Just another little bug, but posts with quotes in them have got a biiiiiiiiig space between the top of the post and the black bar of the quote box. It seems the more quotes, the bigger the space, however it doesn't happen to every post, just most.

Anyway great work guys Clap

Rule 1. for presentations.  Never use blue as a font colour.
Rule 2. for presentations.  Never use green or yellow as a font colour.
Very difficult to read in bright conditions, natural or artifical
Lots of white spaces between objects means lots more scrolling.  Good attempt.

Looks good, will take a bit to get used to.

Couple of things though...

Large gap in posts that quote another.

More defined quote box

Make the top menu clickable instead of just hovering over it. So annoying when the menus pop up when you don't want them.
