New El Zorro Service to Tocumwal?

    This just through Bunbury Street T378, T341 on a short El Zorro Tocumwal down service.

    Through Broadmeadows on the Down around 8:40pm.  The 2 T Class sounding very nice indeed.

    Train hauling 17 or so containers.  Driven by the Chief Taco himself I understand!

    Any ideas on the return working?

    Would think this train would be on a similar return path as the PN Tocumwal goods.

    Can't really afford to be much later due to the evening's down Shepparton passenger service.

    Does this train run for a different operator to the pacnat train?
    Or were pacnat unable/unwilling to add extra services up to Tocumwal?

    EL Zorro Down Tocumwal Service through bunbury street just after 9pm. T378 (long end leading) and 341 at the lead.

    Last wagon was a VOBX?

    I could have kept going through Sunshine to Tocumwal on Thursday Twisted Evil A well known gunzel driving the up Warrnambool passed me at Lara and said something about El Zorro caravans, I said nah, we're gunna cut holes in the roof and they are our now grain wagons!

    No it didnt. Will run with T378 and T341 for a little bit with T357 joining when a few more wagons are added. At the moment, this service will be running to Tocumwal on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's

    Is this new service to Tocumwal more of Emerald Group's new services?
    Anyone know why all the grain from Tocumwal is loaded into containers? Is there no wagons available or is it a different export market?

    This is not the emerald service.  That is a different service which I understand will be run with WA grain wagons on hire.

    The Toc service is a brand new service and will run 3 times per week.

    Due out this evening with 378/341.  T341 likely to lead back in tomorrow night!

    I wish we had Tallarook on that night.

    Then again the Tocumwal never lets us down on any of the sheduled TrainWatchers nights with 2 S class back to back being the highlight one year.

    The Emerald Group service has already commenced on SG with ELZ, first train arrived into Melbourne last night with T386-L277-S300 and AHGX wagons ex The Rock.

    T378 has been leading in both directions each time the train has run. I dont see why tonight would be any different. I thoight it was restricted to trailing unit only
