Has somebody been wandering around in the sun delivering caution orders and become a bit delirious?

I'm wondering what you could possibly want to know that stuff for. Are you a driver in training? Because thats not really stuff the general public would be too concerned about.

What is wrong with wanting to know how things work, while the vast majority of the public wish to remain technicaly ignorant, some of us do like to know the inside deals. To many decisions by the powers to be are left up to the public who almost always no little of the subject. While personal opinion is important it ____MUST_____ be based on accurate information and to much of this "personal opinion" is based on poor information.

To the trainees on here wanting to know a technical question, regardless if the original poster is a trainee or not. On the job, remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. If you not sure, ask. Even if you think that it might not be relevant.

If that is the case, and this is directed at 144M - It is much better to look like a fool asking a stupid question to your trainer and get the right answer, than ask Railpage Australia and get the wrong answers and look like a fool repeating them (and failing because of it)

This.

And if you fail you'll never get a second chance. Better to look stupid than fail.

I see that you are new here. Welcome to RP.

There are a few aspects of RP that you may find helpful:

Any civil question is welcomed by most members as these questions often lead to information and/or other questions which enhance everyone's knowledge. Very Happy

There are some members who are utterly paranoid about anyone who asks an intelligent/technical question. They seem to believe that this is where the KGB, CIA, MI5, Osama bin Laden or the Nazis get their info. Sad

There are also some very rude people who should probably be rubbed out. Ignore them.

That's a bit harst isn't it? Nothing wrong with being curious as to how things work - especially on an enthusiast website Smile.

I'm much the same - I love knowing and working out how things work from PID's to power line equipment Smile.

People on here can be quite mean. And Im not listening to them much longer. they bore me.

There are much better site to find out this stuff. At least someone had the decency to answer you the best that they could, so you got off (A bit) lucky.

Well said. That is why I am starting to get sick of forums. they love to hurt people. Its a sport, One I hate in particular.

they never get "rubbed out" it is always them who win.

I dont find a forum full of people with false promises, lies and silly invented words (like "gimmepig", sounds more like a bunch of bullies to me, more than helpful) that are designed to hurt another for no reason to be a helpful aspect. Thats why I dont come here often.
