Does anyone know any details of the new Pitt St station? Specifically:
- will there be an underground interchange with town hall station
- what streets will the entrances be on
- will the new public square in front of town hall still go ahead and be built with the metro (as was the case with previous labor gov metro plan)

most of the city stations will be linked to the metro stations with the same pathways that we currently use. some info is on the metros web site.

With so many Tunnels dug under Sydney since the 1920's, I wouldnt be surprised to see one already in place or one thast wont take much effort to connect it to the new network.

From what I understand from the State Significant Infrastructure Application Report (which you can read at sydneymetro.info) there will be no interchange between Town Hall and Pitt St. There is also no mention of the public square. Entrances will be located on Park St between Pitt and Castlereagh, and on Bathurst St also between Pitt and Castlereagh.
