So when did 707 pinch H5?

According to the srhc blog back in June H5s new owner had made her avl for 707 to use. There seems to be a fair bit of co-operation going on between Seymour and 707 (707 provided the R to Seymour earlier this year to run a tour ) which can only be a good thing.

Before July 21 - as it was on the Murrayville trip that departed that night.

I recall reading somewhere that they had originally secured a P class (maybe P22), but found it needed more work than originally thought. This then lead to a swap with H5 which was in better condition.

Of course I am open for correction.

Exactly.
As far as I, and others, are concerned, "who owns H5 ATM" means "who owns H5 Automatic Teller Machine"
That is the common meaning of "ATM".
The purpose of language is to communicate, and anyone who uses a common abbreviation to mean something other than its normal meaning is not thinking clearly.
Anyone who queries a polite enquiry by telling the enquirer to "get a life" is just plain ignorant.
(For the benefit of anyone who may be ignorant, an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) is that magic jigger in the wall that you put your card into to get money out - OK?)

Ok then @YM-Mundrabilla ATM=At the Moment, so what I said translates to 'Who owns H5 at the moment' as Railpage Australia™ still states that Pacific National own it. Yes Sherlock it school holidays for some people at the moment, however I have been posting for a while now so please, don't attack my 'amazing' spelling. It was just a simple question out of curiosity. Now does any one actually know? I suspect that it may be Ettamogha Rail Hub.

Quick pro tip.
You make a fair few intelligent posts and ask good questions,But you then negate your good works with stupid ALL CAPS junk posts and idiot remarks.
Just be a NORMAL poster and people will be right with you to help and answer your questions.

Totally agree.

Dangersdan707 - You do post some intelligent stuff, but then ruin it all with your other stupid ones. Your question about the ownership of H5 could have been worded better.

And yes, as far as I can see, H5 was last owned by Ettamogah Rail Hub. Whether it is now on loan to 707 Ops or has been sold to them is not clear. Perhaps you could ask either party to clarify the ownership.

Bit sad seeing Korong Vale in the photos and videos of this and the other recent trips.

Must have been quite a railway town in its day (100+ jobs maybe?) from looking at the old track diagrams, 2 Signal Boxes, Island Platform, Loco Facilities, TT, quite a sizeable yard. Somehow a water tank and column have survived.

Putting 1 and 1 together doesn't always = 2 but judging by the post on the SRHC blog that H5's "current owner" has made her avl to 707 and adding to that the work that SRHC are doing for Ettamogah plus current co-operation between 707 and SRHC I would say that is a pretty intelligent guess that ERH still own H5

I hate bring up the subject but in regard to "Steamrail" will any of the Standard Gauge stock stored at Dimboola ever get to see the light of day now that Broad Gauge running will be restricted to Ballarat, Bendigo and Gippsland regions ?

Geelong? Echuca? Swan hill? Warrnambool? Suburban? Goulburn Vally?

You would have to ask SRV if they have plans to run the Dimboola SG trains next year. It wouldn't surprise me if see them used a fair bit on the newly converted lines.

There was an update on Steamrail's SG operations and their plans for it in their 2017 annual report.
