A freight train has broken down on the Bendigo Line causing V/Line cancellations this afternoon.

The 14:28 Epsom to Southern Cross will run from Bendigo only so one thinks must be on the Down Side of Bendigo.

The 14:28 Epsom to Southern Cross will run from Bendigo only so one thinks must be on the Down Side of Bendigo.

Nah, nothing too dramatic apparently.  B76 and X31 were hauling the empty Qube grain wagons to Bendigo Yard.  A bit of a struggle up Big Hill with X31 getting a bit hot & bothered and having to be nursed over it.  Engine doors were all open on the X when it arrived in Bendigo, and both locos should return to Melbourne today light engine.
