Daniel Andrews Imploding Act

  justapassenger Minister for Railways

Andrews has sacked Somyurek (despite the latter saying he resigned) from the Victorian Labor party …
Greensleeves
A bit of both.

Andrews fired him from the cabinet, Somyurek resigned from the party before expulsion proceedings against him could take place.

Neil Mitchell says ‘mishandled’ Labor crisis puts Premier’s credibility in doubt

As a third Victorian Labor minister departs Cabinet within 24 hours, amid an alleged branch stacking and misuse of funds scandal, Neil Mitchell says the credibility of Premier Daniel Andrews is in question.

“The important point in this is the Premier now, and the credibility of the Premier,” the 3AW Mornings host said.

“Yesterday, if he had stood these ministers down pending corruption investigations, which he should have, this wouldn’t be happening now.

“He’s had embarrassment on embarrassment because he mishandled it from the very start.”

I would take what David Davis says with a pinch of salt.

He is one of the reasons why I would not vote Liberal at the moment in a pink fit.

Michael,

You wouldn't vote Liberal no matter what Labor or the Greens said or did.

Dan Andrews responded to the SA keeping the border with Victoria closed by basically saying 'why the hell would you ever want to go to Adelaide?'

As a supporter of him, this comes across as a salty response.

How would you know?

1992 - 2014 voted Liberal
2018 voted ALP. Matthew Guy ran a Racist and Xenophobic campaign.

And I may vote Liberal if John Pesutto or James Newbery is at the helm.

But as long as Michael Flaming O'Brien is leader, the Libs can kiss it.

And David Davis is not much chop.

It's pretty amazing how the Andrews government has descended into a funeral pyre so quickly. And now tit-for-tat releasing of what they think of each other... charming.

Both actually:
  1. Stupid enough to trust a politician.
  2. Liar - he is a politician.

It just gets worse for Dan. I have heard this before somewhere. Maybe CCP and their BRI can help with the "wall".

You're sounding like Kevvie Rudd on Twitter - all he ever does is blather on about how Rupert is evil.

Never mentions the fact that he went to New York to suck up to Rupes prior to the 2007 election.

Maybe, @dan and @don its time for a chill pill on this one.
What Dan Andrews had to say was a bit of light banter. Steve Marshall responded in kind and was funnier. Neither were personal attacks and actually said nice things about each other.

If you want to understand "fake news", look no further than this confected outrage being spewed by Ruperts Rags.

cheers

Now NSW Labor is getting in on the act - Fairfax/Nine;

Labor MP Julia Finn has quit the NSW shadow cabinet after she was named in an internal investigation into branch stacking in western Sydney.
Ms Finn said in a statement on Friday afternoon she had informed leader Jodi McKay she would be standing aside as Labor's spokeswoman for carers and consumer protection, but said she maintained her innocence.
Ms Finn, the member for the western Sydney seat of Granville, indicated she was looking to clear her name, paving the way for a possible return to the frontbench, by further pursuing the matter internally.
“I have asked the NSW ALP’s internal tribunal to urgently consider matters raised about me in an anonymous dossier and in the Moorhead independent review," she said.
"I have asked that any steps required for this to happen be taken. I maintain my innocence of any wrongdoing, as was the finding of the independent review."

Will the stench of corruption ever leave the NSW Labor Party!
