    Nevertheless, Andrews has had the guts to stand up every day for months and face endless criticism. He has also shown a determination (arrogance some may say) to stay the course.  He has also withstood those to whom O'Brien would have caved in long ago simply simply because of $$$$$$$$.

    Compare The Age to that other publication that yells at you in one direction only in an attempt to get your attention, no doubt because their readership isn't capable of understanding anything more nuanced!

    As if anyone who reads The Age would say anything good about O'Brien.   They would be too busy gushing over the great savior of Victoria, forgetting it was Dan who put us in the back seat to start with.
    Yes; Andrews and Co goofed over the hotel quarantine; nobody disputes this. However, he has led us on a path which has a good result and is attracting compliments from other countries - USA is the latest on Seven News this evening. Age readers can actually read, and O'Brien's 15% approval rating isn't anything to write home to mother about.

    Now; let's hear from you - what good do you have to say about O'Brien? I won't be hard to get on with; just list one good thing he's done over the past 6 months.

    You are quite obviously not a regular reader of The Age. There have been and still are numerous letters published for and against Andrews. The reason why there are none in support of O'Brien may be explained by his 15% popularity rating (or hadn't you thought of that?)

    Comes back to the fact that every government has seen their approval ratings through the crisis increase - ScoMo and Josh are enjoying record high approval ratings (for example).

    There's calls for JobKeeper to be extended beyond its end date early next year - it's going to be really difficult for the government to withdraw these welfare supports for business and individuals without causing big problems.

    Is it any different to withdrawing middle and high class welfare in the form of franking credits or negative gearing on investments?

    I already know the answer. JobKeeper will be withdrawn because it was only ever promoted as temporary.

    You attended every press conference, and took careful note of all the questions and who was asking them, did you? I suppose you remember all the complimentary questions Andrews received about his handling of the hotel quarantine, and that nobody asked any hard questions at all about it.
    Use your vivid imagination wisely; you have a future as a fiction writer. The only thing you had correct was Credlin's considerable tilt to the right.

    Credlin is a biased partisan hack. And if you think that the media is all on Dan Andrews side, you are just lying to yourself now.

    Without a doubt, Andrews should have plenty of questions to answer about the Belt and Road Initiative and the handling of the hotel quarantine. However anyone who keeps out that racist loser Michael O'Brien and his merry band of ineffective tossers will have my backing 24/7.
