I have been wanting for a while to talk about this and to understand more about what the chinese are doing for Thailand with european freight.

I have been rather busy the past week so back online today and wanting to chat.

China are building a double track electrified mainline to the port on the Thailand Gulf.  I think this is already underway but no regular reports I can find on here or anywhere for that matter.  There is no project site to go to.

So where is this at?

When completed how will trains be routed from europe to Thailand?

Why is the line not going to Bangkok?
