You would not be saying this if she had behaved that way towards Albo.Completely irrelevant. Stick to what's happening and leave your imagination out of it.
You're condoning future activism of any kind against anyone and you know it.You would not be saying this if she had behaved that way towards Albo.Completely irrelevant. Stick to what's happening and leave your imagination out of it.
History says she was the very first female PM and nothing will erase that achievement.Or her dreadful, inept decisions.
Windsor and Oakshot decided her decisions were preferable to that of Abbott and clan. You're condoning future activism of any kind against anyone and you know it.You would not be saying this if she had behaved that way towards Albo.Completely irrelevant. Windsor and Oakshot decided her decisions were preferable to that of Abbott and clan.I agree with you, Abbott was a p*ss-poor negotiator according to Oakeshot - he walked into the room and told the independents that they had no choice but to vote for him and he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. Gillard by comparison managed to win them over and form government but then they all lost their seats in 2013 as revenge for voting with Labor.
Agree or disagree, we get the government we elect/deserve.

Those six years of Labor were a total waste - Gillard too weak to consider Resource Rent Tax or any other income boosting-measure instead increasing debt exponentially after the huge waste of Rudd's pink batts and school halls disasters. Sat on her hands while (what was left) of the car industry burnt to the ground from the high dollar and the iron ore boom - and to top it off she gave KFC and Hungry Jacks 'skilled visas' to import burger flippers from Nepal while leaving Aussie kids unemployed. Classic Labor lefties, more welfare for the people we've made unemployed, screwing taxpayers of the future by accumulating more debt while caving in to billionaires and giving them exactly what they wanted.
Six years of unmitigated waste. And we're almost certainly in for more of the same later this year...
GT, in my view gave Morrison far more respect than he’s earned or deserves. Please tell us how she was being petulant, or is yet more uninformed waffle from the chief waffler of SA ??Have you seen the video? She rolled her eyes like a brat. Imagine if she'd done that to Albanese or pretty much any other political leader - you'd be unhappy about it - right? You might not like ScoMo but he's the elected Prime Minister of this nation and he deserves respect - not open rudeness.
If she really didn't want to meet with him she shouldn't have gone - but she seems determined to have made an immature scene - which is exactly what she did.

This doesn't distract from the fact that you do not disrespect the office of Prime Minister. The office of this Prime Minister has progressively degraded itself through being overly politicised and failing to look after all Australians and not just the favoured few. It does not deserve the respect it once did.
And fair enough from the embarrassment of a PM who lied to President Macron and also brought a lump of coal into the House as a prop.Oh NOES! Call the police.
Need I also mention the people devastatingly affected by the bush fires two years ago that ScoMo tried to use as a photo opportunity, who refused to shake his hand...and then claimed "I don't hold a hose mate". Are they 'petulant' as wellSo he was wrong for being honest about not being a professional fire-fighter? Only a few moments ago you were saying he was wrong for cancelling the submarines contract with France and keeping it under his hat until the official announcement.Mike.
Utter rubbishTaxpayers that haven't even been born yet will still be paying off that middle class welfare in your ceiling in years to come. "Free" stuff is great isn't it? I can't wait until Albo is our Prime Minister later this year, I'm going to set up big nets in my backyard to catch all the 'free' money that they're going to be dropping from helicopters over my house.
And we didn't have 9 years of malaise under the current conservative regime
I had the batts installed in my ceiling...no charge and they went straight on top of the old ones to build up the layers.
I see you had no comeback to Wayne Swan being Treasurer at the time of the GFC and we were one of the few western economies that did NOT go into a recession. They borrowed quarter of a trillion dollars - I mentioned that several times and you just ignored it.
More debt...you idiot, you've forgotten already the current regime giving $40,000,000,000, yes $40 Billion Jobkeeper to businesses that didn't need it.You're wrong, I mentioned it on this very thread only yesterday.
It was your mate Hockey that killed the domestic car industry with his horror 2014 budget that broke all the election promises about no cuts to government services. He's not my 'mate'.
So suffer sadly as we 'Labor Lefties' take over the levers of government in a few short weeks. That'll really give you something to get your knickers in a twist about. Mike.I don't get emotional about this stuff, Mike, but you clearly do.
Upon reflection, I do think Grace Tame could have handled herself a bit better yes, It's one thing not to like the PM, but another to be not courteous upon meeting someone.I’ve read earlier today, GT made it clear she didn’t want any part of a photo op. Her and her partner were waiting to follow Morrison inside when she was summoned. Whether true or not?
You're pushing against a very strong group of vested interests in people who want to keep housing completely un-affordable. They don't look at it like that but that's the reality. In that corner you have:House prices neck and neck with Canada for the biggest increases in the world (since 2000). We are utterly screwing the young of this country and nobody cares because the people who already hold the houses are directly benefiting.Fair enough, what’s the solution?
We are utterly screwing the young of this country and nobody cares because the people who already hold the houses are directly benefiting.Who is we? The only people screwing anyone (as far as housing goes) is those selling homes for more than they are worth. Don't want to be screwed? Don't entertain the idea of buying from them. (That leaves me out, I last sold a house 22 years ago and I sold it at a loss. I could argue that I got screwed.)

Make up your mind.
So he was wrong for being honest about not being a professional fire-fighter?He was not being honest; he was being flippant and dismissive. You're old enough to know the difference.
