MSTS has always been a pain. Open Rails on the other hand allows you to use MSTS content with a much improved physics simulation and best of all it's free.
There is also a MSTS/OR exporter for the free open source Blender 3D modelling program. There are many absolute beginner tutorials on You Tube on how to use Blender for those who want to learn. A lot of learning curves look steeper from the bottom than they do once you start ascending the climb.
I see that Jordanever44444 created an account and only made this one post and has not logged back on since. I wonder how the planning is going.
