    Rex fills those gaps in the route market which are not taken by QANTAS and Virgin for many reasons including passenger numbers.  Imagine if passenger rail was viable on some of these routes where Rex flies there might be more routes under pressure.  Australia is becoming more and more expensive to do business in and it is going to cost players at the lower end.

    Maybe time to think about REX using secondary airports for traffic like Avalon?
