You can presently list a train number which includes the times the train has been through the key locations during the journey.
https://www.railpage.com.au/radar?mode=train&id=6708
if you click on the location in the list there is no output. What if you could click on the location and the last 10 trains via that location and the next 10 trains (predicted) through that location could be displayed.
That would be awesome as this provides a better than ever MTP with real data.

Expanding on your locations concept. A nice to have might be major locations around the network say in NSW on the main south in the system but not completed. Then users could be prompted if they have visited this location and if they click yes you are recorded as being at this location and also having the ability to complete as much about the location as possible.

The GTFS data is a way for users to gain access to timetable information. not sure what form it comes in other than computer language.
if the data is made available to Railpage then why not load it and when yuo are looking at a Victorian location on the data system (under locations) show the trains through that location including the train the time (in Railpage time) and the wait for the train.
Would be good.
So if you were at Seymour or A place on the Ballarat line and you are taking photos when you look at a location like https://www.railpage.com.au/locations/au/vic/bank-box-loop on line line show one line of weather as who cares and the timetable for trains up and down at that location for the next 4 ours say?
