It has been discussed here the advantages of a Railcam in South Australia. various traffic patterns across South Australia do not necessarily duplicate or rather an unique when compared to the eastern states.
It has been discussed a camera at Belair, even one a the Bed and Breakfast at Mount Lofty seen here: http://www.mlrs.com.au/home.html
My preference would be out at Port Augusta or elsewhere on the line between Port Augusta and Port Pirie.
