An interesting line up around the turntable at Lithgow depot, New South Wales on 5 October 1994. 8039 and 8030 are Comeng-built ALCo powered 80 class locos, both of which remain in service today.
4605 and 4603 are 1500v DC electric locos built by MetroVic and Beyer Peacock in the late 1950s. By the time of this view, while nominally in traffic it's doubtful they ever turned a wheel in anger again.
44201 is another ALCo powered product, built by AE Goodwin of Sydney in 1971 and later rebuilt by CFCL Australia in 2003 as GL105.
