    6029 in Enfield Loco Depot, NSW, circa 1974

    6029 had been set aside from scrapping for the yet unrealised Australian Federal Museum.

    Subsequently, it was gifted to the Australian Railway Historical Society (ACT Division) to be operated on tours.

    Here the loco is being prepped to steam to its new home at Kingston in the ACT.  Enfield Loco Depot, NSW, circa 1974.
