    Lithgow - 4 October 1994.

    Forty class 46 1500v DC electric locos were built for the New South Wales Goverment Railways between 1956-58 by Metropolitan Vickers/ Beyer Peacock. Although a number survived for another year after this pic was taken, even by this date there was very little work left for the remaining members of the class.
