Puffing Billy Railway - preserved VR narrow gauge steam, with ex. QR diesels replacing steam on this section during the summer months. Footplate Experience Trains (with ex. Melbourne Gasworks locomotives 861 and 986) also ply this section of track.
Dry forest, opening up to a creekbed. Very, very wet in Winter. Plenty of shade all year round, which can make photography challenging.

Parking is available by the side of the road.
PTV Route 695 bus (Belgrave-Gembrook) has a stop a short walk from the bridge. Enter via the fire access track exiting the C411/C412 roundabout.
The township of Cockatoo is a short walk away, which has a cafe and a milk bar.
