Description
Midland Railway of WA mainline diesel. English Electric 6SRKT engine, MS/200 turbocharger (Napier type). 790 flywheel bhp, approx 710hp for traction (to be confirmed) into the EE.827 main generator. Four EE.525 traction motors. 500 gal fuel tank. Vacuum braked. Several preserved. Others in storage no longer needed since vacuum braked maintenance trains ceased to be used.
