CN Rail plans to decrease service from Prince George to North Vancouver by two-thirds. The Opposition says the information is contained in a letter sent by a railway executive to unions representing locomotive engineers.
NDP leader Carole James says this flies in the face of promises made by the B.C. government regarding the service that could be expected under CN's new management of BC Rail lines. She says the cut in service will result in the loss of 113 jobs.
