A young girl has been killed after being hit by a train at Boronia, in Melbourne's east.
Emergency services are at the scene and train services on the Belgrave Line have been replaced by buses between Bayswater and Upper Ferntree Gully.
Meanwhile, Worksafe investigators are at a factory in Braybrook, where a 10-year-old boy has died after being thrown from a forklift.
Ambulance spokesman Matt Dowling says the accident happened shortly before 5 pm.
"This boy had suffered abdominal injuries and paramedics worked on him at the scene, but unfortunately they were unable to revive him and he was declared dead at the scene," he said.
