Inland rail a trifecta for Toowoomba region: mayor
The 24-year-old legal secretary who forced the State Government into submission over tomorrow's free rail travel day has threatened more action if the situation does not improve.
Premier Bob Carr has ordered RailCorp not to charge commuters and not to fine travellers without tickets.
Rebecca Turner, of Carlingford, said now that commuters' frustrations had been aired, it was up to the Government to end the rail chaos.
"I think because we got such a good response, if nothing is done and we need to do something again, we will do it," she said.
After talking to hundreds of frustrated rail users through her email address, email@example.com, Ms Turner said she felt they were united by their anger.
"I will keep the angry commuter hotmail open, and I will welcome any suggestions," she said.
