Buses are replacing trains between Newcastle Interchange and Wyong.
Buses are running in both directions due to urgent overhead wiring repairs near Wyong.
Limited trains are running between Wyong and Sydney.
The work has also impacted the Hunter Line.
The 7:48am train from Newcastle Interchange to Maitland and 8:37am Maitland to Newcastle Interchange trains have been cancelled due to the urgent overhead wiring repairs.
