Victoria, 3-10 to 8-10-2004
After both Amtraks, we headed to our hotel. Afer dinner, we headed back to the station, but nothing was coming through. I took some shots of the inside of the station.
We left the station, to return…
After the event the next day, we made a quick stop at the station again, just in time to see a westbound maifest lead by two Union Pacific locomotives, SD70M #5210 and SD70M #4617.
Just as the westbound was clearing the station, a eastbound intermodal rolled in, with CSX C40-8W #7789 and ET44AH #3406 on point.
One this to note about this trip to Utica compared to the last one is this time I saw a lot less distributed power units(DPU’s).
We headed over the the other platform for the westbound Amtrak. The train came in 1 minute early, with PIII heritage unit #710.
After the Amtrak departed, we hit the road for Plattsburgh.NCT -Harrison
