An international organization dedicated to building the future of transportation through the global advancement of women, WTS presents the award “to an organization that excels in encouraging and advocating for the development of women in the transportation industry.”
Project Engineer Bridget Malinowski, who also serves as President of the WTS Chicago chapter, accepted the award on AECOM’s behalf at the 2019 Awards Banquet in Chicago.
“As a woman who works not only in engineering but also in construction, I have always been able to turn to those within the company for support,” Malinowski said in the acceptance speech. “AECOM fosters an environment that encourages women at all levels.”
