Charles White: A Retrospective is on view at LACMA through June 9, and Life Model: Charles White and His Students is on view through September 15. Don’t miss these two landmark exhibitions celebrating the life and legacy of the artist, teacher, and activist who made Los Angeles his home for more than two decades and influenced generations of artists — including Metro artist Richard Wyatt, Jr., who contributed to the mural City of Dreams/River of History with May Sun. The mural is located in the East Portal of Union Station.
To get to LACMA, take the Metro Rapid 720 to Wilshire Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue.
