It costs $3.50 in stored value to ride Metro roundtrip, plus $2 for a reusable TAP card. The fare includes two hours of free transfers if you need to ride more than one line. Remember to tap your own card before each boarding, including at transfer stations.
Lastly, here’s a quick service reminder: Metro will operate on Sunday/holiday schedule on Fourth of July Thursday. This means buses that do not run on Sunday will not run on July 4. However, Metro Rail will run enhanced service to support those heading out to celebrate on the Fourth:
