The Mid Norfolk Railway has announced that 5197 will be visiting them for their upcoming steam gala.
The steam gala takes place between 28th and 30th June 2019, with tickets and timetables available to view here.
5197 visits the railway thanks to its owners, Greg Wilson and the Churnet Valley Railway.
As you will be aware, 5197 joins 2238 as replacement locomotives due to 60009 Union of South Africa, 6233 Duchess of Sutherland or 9466, not being able to attend the gala.
Please note: 5197 will operate on Saturday and Sunday, and not Friday, as you can probably understand, this is a very short notice replacement locomotive.
