Inland rail a trifecta for Toowoomba region: mayor
A 23-YEAR-OLD insulin dependant man with the mental capacity of a 10-year-old is missing after he boarded a train at Sydney's central railway station.
John Dipalma boarded a train at Engadine, in Sydney's south, at 9am (AEST) yesterday morning and was heading to Kogarah.
But police say he did not arrive and investigations have found he alighted from his train at Central before catching the 9.50am train to Glenfield in Sydney's south-west.
His parents hold extreme concerns for his welfare as he is an insulin dependent diabetic with the learning capacity of a 10-year-old.
John is described as being of white/European appearance, 150-155 centimetres tall, of thin build, unshaven appearance and dark brown hair.
He was last seen wearing grey track suit pants, a blue skivvy, blue hooded raincoat with yellow stripes on the sleeves and cream coloured shoes.
Anyone who might have seen John should call Sutherland Police on 02 9542 0899 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
