Gheringhap Sightings w/e 13/6/2015
Victoria, 3-10 to 8-10-2004
There were only 91 sightings for this week, which is another five less than last week.
Making a total of 3488 sightings for this year to date. On day
230 last year we had seen 3786 sightings.
On the B/G we have seen only three sighting for the week, which are two
sightings less than last week. Two of the sightings were an up and a down
grain train on Monday and the other sighting was a light loco movement on
the up on Thursday. On the three trains this week we saw five locos and they
were all XR class locos.
On the S/G we have seen 16 DL class loco sightings and nine AN class
sightings. We have seen seven BL class sightings as well as seven GL class
sightings. We have seen nine sightings of the XRB slave units, with eight of
them being on the Patrick's trains. And on the SCT trains we saw on sighting
of XR555(PN) and one sighting of V544 on the down, there was a message on
the newsgroups saying that, that could be the last time for a while that we
will see the V, it's reported to be heading to run on the SA coal trains and
could be painted in PN livery? On the P & O trains we have seen 25 EL class
sightings and four sightings of RL302. On Thursday and Saturday we saw
EL+RL+EL combo in both directions and on Friday EL52+EL63+EL54 came in on
AM6 but it returned without EL54.
We have seen two GWA grain trains this week, on Wednesday on the up with
CLP8+2214+2207+GM43 and returning later in the day with,
Tuesday's down Patrick's train went out with the nice lash up of,
NR59?(SL)+XRB562?(PN)+DLXX(AN)+BL35(PN). And for the second week running the
Patrick's trains did not run on Thursday?
My Railpage hosted web site as been down again since Tuesday, maybe problems
