Adelaide tram drivers to stop work
Early morning commuters faced delays this morning when a tram driver suffered a cardiac arrest.
Paramedics were called to assist the Yarra Trams driver who collapsed outside Federation Square.
The driver, en route to Moreland, collapsed when the tram was stopped at traffic lights on Swanston Street. North-bound services resumed at 8.30am.
The Metropolitan Ambulance Services were called to the scene and paramedics administered CPR to the man.
"The man was found unconscious in the tram and we'll be now taking him to the Alfred hospital."
A Yarra Trams spokesman said some services have been diverted and others will resume shortly.
