Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) Former MD Ashwini Bhide who had locked horns with the Shiv Sena on the Metro three-car shed project in Aarey colony to be part of the taskforce who help BMC to handle COVID-19 outbreak.
Uddhav Thackeray Chief Minister of Maharashtra has given 2 senior IAS officers Ashwini Bhide & Dr Ramaswamy N on deputation to the BMC to take measures to contain the extent of the deadly disease in the country.
The BMC has also developed a ‘corona war room’ in their disaster control unit that would be functional round-the-clock and many activities like planning, prevention and management of the pandemic would be carried out on that place.
