Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry has lifted a ban on railroad exports of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel outside of the Eurasian Economic Union in order to ease domestic oversupply caused by the coronavirus emergency.
The move, announced by the energy ministry this week, could allow fuels to be shipped to neighbouring Central Asian nations and countries further south such as Afghanistan.
