V/LINE passenger train services will return to normal timetables from today.
Trains will run on all scheduled services to and from Bacchus Marsh, while coaches will continue to operate to and from Ballarat and Ballan.
The change is part of the gradual return of rail services to the Ballarat line following track upgrades as part of the Regional Fast Rail Project.
V/Line customer relations manager Margot Dickie said V/Line was working to minimise inconvenience to customers, but some delays would be unavoidable as the line gradually returned to full operation by early July.
"We urge passengers to allow extra travel time, around 30 to 40 minutes, when planning their journeys," Ms Dickie said.
New orange temporary timetables are available from all stations along the Ballarat line.
Customers with special needs are advised to contact V/Line on 136 196 as far as possible in advance of their planned journey to discuss travel requirements.
