Pakistan's Minister for Railways Ghous Bakhsh Mahr Wednesday said that Pakistan-Afghanistan rail link would be established by 2008. He informed the National Assembly in a written reply that a plan has been chalked out to expand rail track from Chaman to Kandhar.
He said the rail track to be completed by 2008 would help enhance trade activities between the two countries and Central Asian States. He said feasibility study of the project has been completed and construction will be started immediately after the approval.
