Tram drivers have returned to work in the city and Melbourne's east after calling a snap strike this morning.
The industrial action left commuters stranded with services stopped along St Kilda Road, Swanston Walk and on routes in Glen Iris and Kew.
The drivers walked off the job to attend a stop work meeting to discuss rostering issues.
A Yarra Trams spokesman says they returned to work just before 3:00pm AEST.
