Australia's longest passenger train, the Ghan, just got longer - and it will take 1,000 bottles of wine and 80 kilograms of barramundi to keep its travellers happy.
The Ghan has added two carriages for its 3,000-kilometre journey leaving Adelaide for Darwin this afternoon. That increases the train's length to 1.2 kilometres, beating its own record for the country's longest passenger train by 65 metres.
