Model train manufacturer Roco has announced the arrival of a new ‘art locomotive’ by Gudrun Geiblinger. The artist from Austria is currently working on a new design for a ÖBB locomotive type 1216. Leonardo Da Vinci will be the key figure.
The 1216 will be presented this spring – and it will work Railjet trains in Germany, Austria and Italy, according to Roco. In the ‘Roco Neuheiten 2019’ catalogue, page 36, the project is being announced.
