DB Regio selected for Rhein-Neckar operating contract
The delivery of new TRAXX AC3 electrics to DB Cargo goes rather slow this year. But today, with the maiden run of 187 159, some progress is shown.
In January of this year, DB Cargo took delivery of 187 144-149, that all completed their maiden run in 2017. Then it got quiet. It took until 17.04.2018 before 187 150 was handed over. Since then the production of AC3s for DB Cargo continues, slowly but steadily.
Meanwhile we have recorded 187 150-155 being in service, 156 and 157 are under delivery. 187 158 completed its maiden run on 29.06.2018 and 187 159 followed on 04.07.2018.
