We’ve been expecting it for a while now. The first of four CRRC-built locomotives for the railways of North Macedonia is on its way to its new home. Its number: 443-002.
The contract between CRRC and Macedonia Railways Transport was signed back in January 2017. The four new TSI-compliant locomotives are valued at EUR 8 million and will be used on the Pan-Europian railway corridor X on which these are expected to pull 1600-ton trains (one locomotive).
